Game 1:

The opening week started with a game between Providence and Virginia Cavs. Providence got off to an early lead, but Virginia Cavs fought back into the game, ending the first half 13-12.

The second half was a game of ties and tie-breakers. Marcus and Ty of Providence hit two big 3's to tie the game at nineteen. With twelve minutes left in the game, both teams would exchange buckets for 21-21. The turning point of the game was when Samuels (#0) of Virginia Cavs threaded the defense to assist Morris (#9) with a bucket. From that point, VA Cavs would go on to defeat Providence 34-24.

Morris provided the Cavs with 13 points, and Samuels chipped in with 8. Bustamante helped with 6 points and provided a strong defensive presence on the inside, creating stops and grabbing boards. After the game, Coach William of Virginia Cavs spoke highly of him.

Game 2:

The second game of the evening was a game between two familiar groups: Team FBG and Foundation Academy 13U. Both teams got off to a slow start, but later got into a flow. At the end of the first half, Foundation Academy 13U was ahead of Team FBG by 3. (17-14)

Starting the 2nd half, Foundation Academy came out and applied full court pressure, going on an 8-0 run. Team FBG called a timeout and made a few adjustments. Foundation Academy later switched to half court man. After that, Jaden Daughtry changed the momentum with a hard attack to the basket, getting the bucket and the foul. Foundation Academy continued to have defensive let-downs, causing Team FBG to gain the lead and the victory, 35-32.

Jaden Daughtry led Team FBG with 16 points. Justin Reyes: 5 points, and Jaiden Johnson had 4. Jared Arthur led Foundation Academy, scoring 9.

Game 1:

The second week kicked off with a game between Virginia Cavs and Team FBG. Both teams came out exchanging buckets, early. Lyons (#5) of VA Cavs provided two big 3's that gave his team an edge. Jaiden Johnson of Team FBG responded with a three of his own, right before Lyons went to the line, making one out of two free-throws, after Team FBG was called for a technical for having six players on the court. Jaden Daughtry of Team FBG brought the game within one, after going coast to coast for a bucket, but it was the aggressive defense of the Virginia Cavs that gave them an 18-10 lead at half time.

At the start of the second half, Morris of VA Cavs came out with an aggressive drive to the basket, making it 20-10, but from a spinning post move with an up and under, to a nice assist to Bridgforth, and a heads-up lead pass to Johnson, Daughtry gave Team FBG a big spark, getting his team within two. Both teams continued to exchange buckets, but Team FBG could not gain the lead. VA Cavs gained their second win of the league (31-29), being the only undefeated team standing.

Marquis Morris led VA Cavs with 15 points, and Lyons provided 7. Jaden Daughtry led Team FBG with 14.

Game 2:

The second game of the evening was between Foundation Academy 13U and Providence Middle. Both teams got out to a slow start, keeping each other to single digits, in the first half. At half time, Providence was ahead 5-2.

In the second half, Providence expanded their lead to 15-4, led by Nathan Childress. Foundation continued to fight with a spark from Jared Arthur. Arthur hit two big 3's, getting Foundation within 5, (19-14). But with solid play and even scoring, Providence walked away with the victory, 25-15.

Childress led Providence with 6 points, and Arthur led Foundation Academy 13U with 7.
